• Once a vendor has integrated their store into the shoptype platform, they can set the attribution settings under Attribution on their shoptype vendor profile. A default set of recommended values are filled on store creation so these values can be changed as required.
  • The first section of the page deals with the percentage of each sale that the vendor is willing to set aside as fees to be distributed across the network cosellers.
  • All network and platform fees are obtained from this value. eg. the 40% in the illustration is set aside to be distributed across the network. The remaining 60% of the purchase value will be directly sent to the vendor
*(Payment gateway charges are also passed onto the vendor and hence will be taken out of this 60%, Vendors should consider this while setting their network fees)
*(Shipping fees and taxes are excluded from this calculation of attribution and are directly sent to the vendor, only the sale value is considered as part of the attribution calculations)
  • The second section of the page deals with the distribution of the network fee that was set earlier.
  • The Network fee split adds up to 100% of the Effective Network Fee eg the percentage of the 40% that was set aside by the vendor.
  • Every stage is a touch point in a potential sale and has its own expire time, ie. the time period before the actual sale.
  • Eg The coseller with whom the customer interacts within 6 hours of making the purchase will be identified as the Close and will earn 40% of the effective network fee.
Similarly the coseller with whom the customer interacts within a week of making the purchase will be identified as Stage 2 and will earn 30% of the effective network fee.
The coseller with whom the customer interacts within 1 month of making the purchase will be identified as Stage 1 and will earn 20% of the effective network fee.
The coseller who first introduces the customer to the vendor's products will be identified for the Introduction Payout if the purchase is made within 24 months of this interaction earning 10% of the effective network fee.
  • All Expire time values can be modified by the vendor to whatever value they see fit.
  • Once these values are set and updated, the calculation of the fees per sale are automatically calculated in real-time and disbursed by the platform which will be applied for all products in their store.

  • The vendor can apply a different set of attribution settings for individual products if they choose to do so by navigating to the Products tab.
  • Clicking the Attribution button that corresponds to the product whose attribution the vendor would like to modify will open a new page with attribution settings for that specific product.
  • The vendor can thereby set the storewide attribution as well as attribution for individual products if they differ from the storewide attribution.
